Darren Reece Highfill chairs the UtiliSec Working Group within the UCA International Users Group and is developing security architecture for Southern California Edison's advanced technologies division on a long term Smart Grid contract through Saker Systems. Darren also leads the Advanced Security Acceleration Project for the Smart Grid (ASAP-SG) - a government/private-sector collaborative effort to define system-level requirements for development, procurement, and deployment of smart grid technologies. Formerly, Darren led the utility security practice at EnerNex Corporation.
