This site is a temporary home for the open information exchange of smart grid related information including use cases, business cases, RFQ's, various tools, project status reports, and other material contributed by the smart grid community. This site is expected to be replaced by the DOE Smart Grid Clearinghouse web site being set up for this and other purposes.
A major goal of this site is to provide a means of contributing this smart grid related intellectual property into the public domain under a framework that defines a well understood set of rights to use what is posted for any purpose. We are using a Creative Commons license the details of which can be found at Creative Commons Attribution 3.0
